The new uniform for customer service personnel was designed by the winner of a Fashion Trust Arabia competition

Hamad International Airport (DOH) – which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary – has unveiled a brand-new uniform for its customer service team. The airport described this uniform as reflecting a new approach towards its growth plans, ‘which includes empowering its people and enhancing its customer service experience’. More than 350 customer service personnel at Hamad International Airport will wear the new uniform.

Through the partnership with Fashion Trust Arabia, designers submitted their proposals for the new uniform. Qatari designer Sheikha Zulfa Al Thani won the competition with a design described by DOH as ‘modern, dynamic and functional‘. The design was influenced by the airport’s logo.

Abdulaziz Abdulla Al-Mass, vice president marketing and corporate communications at Hamad International Airport, said: “This milestone marks a significant evolution for the airport’s brand. Our customer service team, who are the face of our airport, are dedicated to meeting passengers’ needs and enhancing their travel experience. The new uniform is designed to foster engagement and leave a lasting impression on our ever-growing customer base.”

Hamad International Airport has a diverse team of customer service professionals, representing over 40 nationalities and fluent in more than 50 languages. The new uniform is part of a wider customer service transformation that also includes the introduction of a standardised approach through training and development. According to DOH, these initiatives aim to foster stronger connections and creating a welcoming environment for the airport’s growing global audience.
