DAT (Danish Air Transport) is now part of the Domestic Transfer service at Avinor Group-operated Oslo Airport

The new arrangement means that passengers arriving at Oslo Airport on an international flight with SAS, Widerøe, or Atlantic Airways and continuing onwards on a domestic flight in Norway, no longer need to collect their luggage and recheck it in.

Travellers with a ticket issued for the entire journey with one of these airlines can therefore skip a round of security screening when arriving in Oslo, proceeding directly to their next gate.

“We already know that the Domestic Transfer solution offered at Oslo Airport is greatly appreciated by both airlines and, not least, the passengers who are continuing onwards to domestic flights. We are glad that even more travellers will benefit going forward, with DAT now among the companies offering this service,” said Dorothy Billett, SVP at Oslo Airport

DAT will provide automatic, remote customs clearance and seamless baggage transfer. Providing that their luggage is labelled with their final destination, all passengers need to do on arrival at Oslo Airport is to follow the signs for Domestic Transfers.
