Previously vice president of business development, Americas, Toerber’s new role will see him oversee Assaia's growth strategy across the Americas, driving partnerships with airlines, airports, and ground-handling teams to maximise efficiency and operational excellence, the company said.

Toerber joined Assaia in 2023, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in aviation operations and innovation. His career includes key roles at Amazon Air, the Port of Seattle, and hands-on expertise in deploying groundbreaking technology, including Assaia’s ApronAI at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
