Spanish electric mobility firm CRISALION Mobility has entered a strategic agreement with US-based innovator UrbanLink Air Mobility for its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Under the deal, CRISALION will pre-sell 20 of its Integrity eVTOLs to UrbanLink. UrbanLink is aiming to be the first independent operator of all electric AAM solutions and is poised to be the first non-OEM-owned airline in the US to integrate eVTOL aircraft into its fleet. This new fleet will bolster UrbanLink's presence in Europe, particularly targeting growth in Spain and Italy. CRISALION's Integrity eVTOL, capable of carrying five passengers and a pilot, is designed for urban and intercity transport. With 145 Integrity aircraft pre-sold across four continents, CRISALION continues to position itself as a leader in the emerging electric aviation market.
"We are proud to partner with Crisalion, one of Europe's most well-funded and expertly managed eVTOL manufacturers,” said Ed Wegel, founder and chairman of UrbanLink Air Mobility. “The Integrity’s innovative design, which significantly reduces vibration while optimizing range and speed, is truly impressive. We are excited to bring these aircraft to routes connecting Madrid, Milan, and other major European cities.”
Manuel Heredia, CEO at CRISALION Mobility, said: "It is an honour to welcome UrbanLink to the CRISALION family of partners. UrbanLink's vision of becoming a fully electric, efficient transport operator is perfectly aligned with our commitment to lead the mobility of the future, driving innovation, quality and sustainability. We are delighted to commit to a strong, lasting partnership, one that will change the way we understand transport.”
