Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has conducted an emergency response exercise at Bahrain International Airport (BIA), which it owns and operates

Simulating an incident beyond the 1,000m runway threshold, the exercise was performed by the Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (RFFS) at Bahrain International Airport in cooperation with the Civil Defense Force and National Ambulance, testing response times and preparedness.

This emergency Response Exercise aligns with the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) regulations and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines on emergency planning, the operator said.
