Swissport’s air cargo handling team in Brussels has received the Cargo Ground Handler of the Year Award
Swissport’s air cargo handling team in Brussels has received the Cargo Ground Handler of the Year Award from industry group Air Cargo Belgium.
Swissport said the recognition “reaffirms its position as a key player in pharmaceutical logistics in Belgium”. The company provides integrated cool chain logistics at its Swissport Pharma Centers in Brussels, Frankfurt and Basel.

Since establishing a presence in Belgium in 1990, Swissport has expanded and currently operates a 25,000 square metre air cargo centre at Brussels Airport.
The facility was fully refurbished and further enhanced in 2019 with the addition of the Swissport Pharma Center. In 2022, Swissport handled 200,000 tons of air cargo and serviced over 1,600 aircraft.
