Travel F&B specialist SSP Group has appointed Ann-marie Murphy chief people officer. She will take up her role early next year.
Ann-marie Murphy joins from The Gym Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing gym operators, where she is currently chief operations officer. She joined The Gym Group in 2018, initially in the role of director of people and development, setting up the company’s people function, designing and delivering strategies for talent, L&D, performance, inclusion and reward.
Prior to The Gym Group, Murphy was group human resources director at New Look Retailers, where she established the Global HR function. She worked for nearly 13 years at Tui Travel, holding a variety of senior HR roles, with a remit covering the UK, North America, France, Spain and Australia.
