Çelebi Aviation’s cargo and warehouse operation in Istanbul, Turkey, has gained IATA CEIV Pharma certification after completing a series of audits.
The certification follows the same achievement for Çelebi’s teams in Budapest, Frankfurt and Delhi.
IATA CEIV Pharma certification addresses the aviation industry’s need for more safety and security. It also ensures national and international compliance to safeguard product integrity and address specific air cargo needs.
The certification provides the industry recognition to organisations and has been designed to improve the level of competency, operational and technical preparedness, helping to achieve global standardisation.
Funda Eraslan, spokesperson for Çelebi Aviation, said: “As a result of our hard work, we are proud to announce that we are now fully certified in all our cargo and warehouse stations in Budapest, Frankfurt, Delhi and Istanbul. We appreciate the efforts of all our colleagues for their great determination and hard work.”
Çelebi was established in 1958 as Turkey's first privately owned ground handling service company. With over 10,000 employees, Çelebi operates at 40 stations in three continents.
