A new online shop was launched at Riga Airport (RIX) this month, as the Latvian hub continues to develop its digital services.
The new platform offerings quick and cost-effective services such as parking, the fast-track security checks and visit to the business lounge.
Passengers can buy services via the e-shop on the airport website before they travel. For example, those heading for one of the airport's long-term car parks, P3 and P4, can buy their parking space in advance online cheaper than buying on-site.
A visit to the Primeclass Business Lounge costs €10 less via the e-shop than at the airport. The visit includes food and drink, access to showers, luggage safe boxes and an option to use the conference room.
The RIX Fast Track security check service is particularly beneficial when travelling with children, the airport said. For under-12s, the service is free when they are with someone who has already purchased the service. The RIX voucher – valid with a boarding pass – costs €10.
