Passengers taking international flights from London Stansted Airport this summer will benefit from a range of new facilities.
A £12m refurbishment of its international departures lounge will see a host of new F&B and retail outlets at the UK airport. Among the upgrades will be a range of new food and beverage outlets including Comptoir Libanais, Terracotta Italian Kitchen, The Perch, Sunnyside Café, Caffè Nero and Bottega prosecco bar. World Duty Free will double in size and there will be new Superdry and WHSmith stores. WHSmith’s new store features an eye-catching digital fascia and incorporates an InMotion outlet for technology and electrical accessories.
Ben Green, retail director at airport operator MAG, said: “Each of the new venues will offer something unique and will complement the existing food and beverage eateries we currently have. From an on-the-go snack to a quick coffee or a more luxurious treat, our passengers will be spoilt for choice.”
A major recruitment drive is also underway as the airport continues its recovery from the pandemic and looks ahead to the summer season.
