Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has opened its first Plaza Premium Lounge at Edinburgh Airport, its seventh European location.
At 769m2, the new lounge can accommodate up to 165 guests. Its lobby leads to the Edinburgh Gin Bar, PPG’s first gin bar collaboration with Edinburgh Gin, a locally distilled award-winning premium gin. The lounge’s interior design features tartan fabrics, local woods and artwork referencing key Scottish landmarks and iconic imagery. Furniture and materials have been sourced from local suppliers to minimise environmental impact. The lighting scheme is 100% LED-based, and the lounge is installed with energy-efficient appliances.
In addition to the gin bar, the lounge features a quiet zone, and an interactive zone designed for younger travellers.
The lounge is open daily to all travellers, regardless of airline or class of travel, and without prebooking.
