Brazil’s Micaelis and France’s Pelagos Aero will work together to drive sustainable urban air mobility (UAM) in Latin America.
Micaelis, a pioneering Brazilian enterprise in the field of air mobility, has entered into what it describes as a game-changing partnership with Pelagos Aero, a French consulting company specialising in aeronautical engineering and vertiport design. This collaboration aims to revolutionise the landscape of air transportation, spearheading innovation, and ushering in a new era of sustainable urban air mobility (UAM) solutions across Latin America, the new partners said.
We envision a future where vertical mobility becomes accessible to the masses
The partnership between Micaelis and Pelagos Aero marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of cleaner flight operations and the decarbonisation of aviation. Leveraging Micaelis’ expertise in promoting and supporting cutting-edge air mobility products and services, and Pelagos Aero’s 30-year legacy of defining and building heliports and vertiports, this new alliance aims to lay the foundation for an extensive network of vertiports in Brazil.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Pelagos Aero in this revolutionary partnership that will accelerate the realisation of sustainable air mobility in our region,” said Vincent Kieffer, co-CEO of Micaelis. "Together, we envision a future where vertical mobility becomes accessible to the masses, bringing unprecedented convenience and environmental consciousness to the forefront of air transportation.
