The new service offers travellers the opportunity to ship their luggage ahead from home to any destination and finalise travel-related procedures prior to their flight date. The service includes all of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s airports and it is available on all domestic and international flights. The new service is set to come into effect in the first quarter of 2024.
According to Matarat Holding, the service is intended to ease travel procedures for travellers, enhance the travel experience to keep pace with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, cut down airport wait times and limit the carrying of luggage in the airports. The service is available for both individuals and groups.
Matarat Holding operates 27 airports in Saudi Arabia through its subsidiaries (Riyadh Airports, Jedco, DACO, and Cluster2).
