Marcel Haar has been appointed managing director of Frequentis Germany, effective August 1, 2024, taking over from Reinhard Grimm
Born in Vienna, Marcel Haar joined Frequentis in 2016, initially building up the marketing organisation for all regions worldwide. As director group communications and marketing, he set the course for the digital transformation of Frequentis. Haar is known for developing and implementing growth strategies and has more than 15 years of experience in finance, marketing, and sales.
From 2009 to 2014, Haar worked at a US management consultancy, where his positions included head of marketing and key account manager for Austria and Eastern Europe.
He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts (Banking and Financial Services) from the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna.

In addition to his new role as managing director Frequentis Germany, Marcel Haar will continue to be responsible for group communications and marketing. Haar takes over as MD from Reinhard Grimm, who is now responsible for the global ATM civil business.
