Lighting manufacturer ewo has received certification from DarkSky International for its R-System gen4 and RIVAL luminaire ranges
The ewo R-System gen4 and RIVAL luminaire ranges for lighting applications such as airport aprons, logistics areas and sports facilities have been certified by US-based not-for-profit DarkSky International with the DarkSky Approved label. The certified luminaires are special versions of product series that have already operating successfully on the market for some time.
South Tyrolean form ewo has had six luminaire types from two of its product families for large-area lighting certified. This provides planners with a comprehensive selection of lighting tools for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient lighting. The certified luminaires are special versions of the R-System floodlight family, which are intended in particular for airports and logistics areas, as well as luminaires from the RIVAL family, which have been optimised for illuminating sports fields. They are already in operation at Munich Airport.
