The supervisory board of Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) has appointed Dariusz Kuś to the management board of the company. He was selected from a group of five potential candidates.
Kuś was president of Wrocław Airport from 2007 to 2023. He was responsible for, among other things, the design, financing, construction and transfer of the airport's operations to a new location, and later for the execution of the investment.
Further changes
These have been further changes to the CPK management board. The supervisory board has dismissed Mikołaj Wild, formerly president of CPK, and Radosław Kantak, formerly member of the management board for railway investments. The chairman of the supervisory board, Filip Czernicki, was delegated to act as president of the management board for a period of three months. Andrzej Alot, who is responsible for finance, remained on the management board of the company.

There has also been a change to the CPK supervisory board, with the appointment of Zbigniew Szafrański.
Professionally associated with rail transport since 1983, Szafranski has been member of the management board - director for strategy and development at PKP (Polish State Railways) and member of the management board - technical director of PKP Energetyka. From 2009 to 2012, he was president of Polish rail infrastructure operator PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe. He represented Polish railways internationally within various organisations and associations, including as chairman of the Railway Systems Forum of the International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris and chairman of the Infrastructure Group of the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) in Brussels.
The previous supervisory board of CPK was dismissed last month. A new supervisory board was formed with the appointment of: Filip Czernicki (chairman), Andrzej Ilków (vice chairman), Adam Sanocki (secretary) and Magdalena Jaworska-Maćkowiak.
