Pascall+Watson’s Matthew Butters is representing the British Aviation Group on the UK Airports Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia.
With support from the British Aviation Group, the Department for International Trade (DIT) begins its UK Airport sector trade mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this week. The mission is open to all companies across the UK airport supply chain looking to establish or strengthen partnerships in the country.
Matthew Butters, Pascall+Watson director and deputy chair of the British Aviation Group (BAG), will attend as mission lead for BAG.
Saudi Arabia is already the largest aviation market in the Middle East, and aims to develop into a global transport hub as part of the region’s 2030 Vision for a diversified economy. This trade mission provides opportunities for suppliers and experienced aviation and airport experts from the UK to build and develop long-term relationships with Saudi partners and play a role in delivering on Saudi Arabia’s ambitious airport infrastructure development plan.
The Saudi aviation sector is expecting growth of 126% over the next 20 years – contributing US$82bn to the GDP. Pascall+Watson already has high-profile aviation projects in Saudi Arabia and a past portfolio that includes King Abdulaziz International Airport and King Khalid International Airport, as well as proposals for several other airports in the Kingdom.
