Aviator Airport Alliance, a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics, has appointed a new managing director in Finland.
Kimmo Holopainen takes up his new role on December 1. Holopainen has extensive experience in various positions in aviation ground handling, airport operations, hotel business, and property maintenance sectors.
Jo Alex Tanem, CEO of Aviator Airport Alliance, said of the appointment: “It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Kimmo as the new managing director in Finland. He has demonstrated vision and embodied excellence throughout his career, and we look forward to forging a strong and successful future for Aviator with him. As managing director, he will have an opportunity to drive further strategic, cultural, and operational change across the company.”
Holopainen said: “I am pleased to have been appointed to the role of managing director for Finland and grateful to the board for its trust and confidence. CEO Tanem said of outgoing MD Jukka Pekka Kujala: “Jukka Pekka has led our company through Covid-19 and difficult times over the past five years and has built Aviator Finland to almost three times the size it was when he started in the role. I would like to thank Jukka Pekka for his accomplishments and wish him the best of luck in future endeavours”.
