Airport systems provider ADB Safegate has acquired DBT Transportation Services, which specialises in weather systems, sensor technologies and services for the aviation industry.
DBT, which started life as a small family-owned company, now operates globally. The Houston-headquartered firm provides automated weather observation stations to a wide range of customers, ranging from national transportation, aeronautics and meteorology departments to small local airports or municipalities. DBT has 70 full-time employees and 23 professional field service engineers located across the United States.
