Dr Tracy Lamb brings with her a 28-year career in commercial aviation as an operator, innovator, and business developer, with extensive expertise in aviation safety auditing, compliance, human factors, safety system integration, and safety data analytics.
“I am honoured to join Supernal to lead the company’s safety and quality management programmes,” she said. “Safety is a prerequisite for all sectors of aviation, but it’s especially critical to building and maintaining public acceptance of AAM [advanced air mobility] so it can achieve its fullest potential across a variety of beneficial mission profiles.”
Lamb’s background encompasses ISO 9001, 31000, 41000, ISO BAO, BARS, and ICAO standards. Prior to joining Supernal, she spent two weeks a month flying as an international cargo airline pilot, operating Boeing 767-300 and 757- 200 freighters for Amazon Prime.
Dr Lamb's industry leadership has earned her the prestigious Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS) title, inclusion in the Hall of Fame for Women in Emerging Aviation Technologies, and the role of Vice Chair of the Board for the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA). She has won several industry awards for aviation programme development and business excellence. She is also one of the few officially designated subject matter experts in uncrewed aircraft safety and regulatory affairs by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
